About Us

Bill and Jean Lukens have been married for 30 years. They have a blended family of five children and seven grandchildren. Bill is a Chaplain and a Lay Counselor. Jean is a graduate of Women in Leadership Development and is a Stephen Minister. They have been serving in marriage ministry for over 15 years.

“Team Lukens” as they were dubbed by one of their client couples have a unique approach to marriage counseling. They meet as a couple with their clients and then intersperse a series of one on one meetings, so the man and woman can focus on their unique issues. Bill and Jean work with couples over expended periods, sometimes up to a year, as the couple incorporates new habits into their relationship. They continue to be “on call” for years after couples move on.

In addition to marriage counseling, Bill has a practice working with men and the unique challenges they face in life. He conducts classes on Boundaries and Anger Management. Many of the books on the resource page are integrated into a “custom” approach for each man. The COUPLE exercise that he developed from Love and Respect has proven to be a great tool to bring men closer to their wives by helping understand the love language of their wife. Bill has also authored the book New Insights New Outlook with 52 messages for men. Downloads are free!

Oneness is a goal we all desire for our marriage, our relationships and our souls. What prevents oneness? There are many bricks in the wall that prevent oneness- fear, hurt, pain, inner vows and trauma. As Christian Life Coaches we have witnessed healing that leads to oneness. The list is endless but the cure is singular-the healing power of the Holy Spirit! We are only coaches the healing comes from the Holy Spirit!
